Coach Horsey is the Head Track and Field
Coach at Church Farm School (CFS). He has been the Head Coach at CFS since
1996. In 2003, CFS was runner-up in the Independent School State Track and
Field Championship. In 2004 and 2005, Coach Horsey's CFS Track and Field
Team was the Independent School State Champion. In 2007, CFS was
third. In 2007, Coach Horsey was named the Cross Country Coach of
the Year by the PA Independent Schools Cross Country Association. In 2009,
CFS's first year in the PIAA, Coach Horsey piloted his team to the District I
AA Championship. In 2001, he was named Coach of the Year by the
Philadelphia Enquirer. In 2004 and 2009, he was named Coach of the Year
by the Daily Local News. He has also coached at Devon Prep and
Cheyney
University. He is an active member of
Bethel
AME
Church in
Downingtown,
Pennsylvania where he is a
trustee, President of the Lay Organization, and a member of the Male Chorus.
Assistant Coach Claude Cooper
Coach Cooper is our Developmental Program
Coach. Coach Cooper is a USATF licensed coach. Coop was an
All-American Track and Field athlete at
Purdue
University.
Coach Cooper is married with three children and resides in the
Downingtown
Area
School District.
Coach Cooper is President of the Real Estate Firm, The Cooper Team.
Assistant Coach Brian Wallace
Brian is a 2008 graduate of
Gettysburg
College
where he lettered in track & field and cross country. Brian is our
Developmental Distance and Middle Distance Coach. Brian also competes in
middle distance at the Masters Level.

Coach Davenport is the Head Indoor Track Coach
at
Bayard
Rustin
High School in
West
Chester and an Assistant Coach for Outdoor Track. She is a
Social Worker for the
West
Chester
School District.
She ran track at Maryland Eastern Shore and is a former athlete with the
West Chester Track Club (WCTC). She is married to Turron Davenport and
has three daughters, Deja, Dru, and Devyn. Coach Davenport is a member of
the
Bethel
AME
Church
where she serves in the capacity as a Steward and directs the Children's
Choir.
Assistant Coach
John Adams
Coach Adams is a Sprint and Jump Coach at
Henderson HS in
West Chester,
Pennsylvania. He teaches at
Bayard Rustin HS in
West Chester. Coach
Adams is a graduate of
Millersville
University. Coach
Adams is very active in the
Maranatha
Church located in
Coatesville,
Pennsylvania. Coach
Adams and his wife Roxanne, who also teaches in the WCASD, have three children,
Maurice, Stefan, and Richelle. The Adams' reside in
West Chester,
PA.
Manager Darren White
Coach White is our administrative manager and is
the Vice Chair of the Mid-Atlantic Association ofthe USATF Youth Committee. Darren was a
middle distance runner for
Wissahickon
High School in the early
80’s, including the 1982 PIAA AAA state champion team. Coach White ran under Pennsylvania Track and Field Hall of Fame coach Floyd
Garis, and very successful middle distance coach, Bill Gallagher, both of whom
are still actively coaching for Wissahickon.
Our members come from all over Chester County, including West Chester, Downingtown, Coatesville, Great Valley, Tredyffryn-Eastown, Phoenixville, Kennett Square, and Avon Grove.
